I don’t usually do food reviews, but this time I had to. Rustic & Blue – Handgrown Produce & Artisan Food in Chiang Mai got me. I was in Chiang Mai for work, only 1 night stay; therefore, I didn’t want to bother any of my friends there, so I thought I roam around on my own. I’ve heard that Chiang Mai’s organic and fresh vegetables has become a thing, so I Googled for cafes and restaurants that serve great salad. And voila… Google spit out Rustic and Blue.
本当はあまりレストランや料理のレビューはしないのですが、チェンマイのラスティックアンドブルーは最高でした。仕事でほんの一泊の短い期間でチェンマイに行ってきました。短かったので誰にも言わず一人旅でもしてみようと思いました。最近、チェンマイではオーガニックでおいしい野菜が大人気と聞いたのでググってみました。出てきたのはラスティックアンドブルーでした。
The shop looks tiny on the entrance, but once you’re in, you’ll see the inner back yard slash garden-ish area. I stayed in the air-con area which was already cute and cozy.
外からはちょっと小さい喫茶店のようなとこでしたが、中に入ると後ろの庭が広がったとても気持ちいい空間になってました。私はクーラーの効いてるカフェエリアにいました。インテリもとてもカントリーで可愛いかったです。
I didn’t order any pastries and breads, but I can already see that they look awesome!!!
パンとかパティセリーは頼んでなかったのですが、バスケットにずらり美味しそうなパン達を見たら危なく買ってしまいそうでした。
I ordered Coconut Sesame Banana Smoothie and it came exactly like in the menu. And it tasted awesome. I love that it’s not too sweet and mostly the sweetness was from banana… meaning natural.
ココナッツとセサミーとバナナのスムージーを頼んでみました。写真そっくりに出てきました（笑）。味の方はもちろん美味しかったです。甘さ控えめのバナナの甘さのみ使用されてるようです。それは嬉しい。
They had so many salad dishes, egg dishes, and burgers… also plenty of organic and healthy sweets and desserts. It took me a while to decide but I finally ordered Chorizo and Tomato with Avocado Salad. One word… HEAVEN. The salty chorizo contrasted with the sourness of tomatoes and balsamic vinegar made it soooo good. On top of that the homemade goat cheese pulled out the sweetness in tomatoes and grapes.
メニューの中は様々なサラダ、卵料理、バーガー等でいっぱいでした。もちろんオーガニックでヘルシーそうなデザートやスィーツも盛りだくさん。決めるまでにかなり時間がかかってしまったのですが、最終的にはチョリソーソーセージとトマトとアボガドサラダにしました。一言で言うと、、、口の中が天国でした。チョリソーの塩っけとトマトとバルサミコの酸味がお互いの味を引き立て合い、その上にヤギのチーズがトマトとグレープの甘さを引き立ち、、、めっちゃ美味しかったです！
It was such a tasty experience… If you are in Chiang Mai, I highly recommend this place.
